«Yellow vests» are calling for new demonstrations in Paris on Saturday, despite the ban on protests on the Champs Elysees, which was announced by French Prime Minister Edouard Philip after an outbreak of violence over the weekend.

The yellow vest protests reached their 18th week of nationwide demonstrations, and 60 people, including 17 police officers, were injured when protesters smashed and burned shops on the Champs Elysées.
